My Favorite Holiday Cookie Recipe!

Hello everyone!

The holiday season is fast approaching, bringing with it the warm glow of twinkling lights, cozy evenings by the fire, and the irresistible scent of baked goods everywhere.

Today, I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday cookie recipe that my sister and I make every year. These cookies are truly one of a kind. They are soft in the center, crunchy around the edges, and bursting with flavors that capture the magic of the season.

So, gather your ingredients, preheat the oven, and be ready to enjoy this delicious treat!

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 Cups GF Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • *Optional: chocolate chips, cinnamon, vanilla powder, spices of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare some baking sheets
  2. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. You can set this mixture aside.
  3. Beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until the mixture creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down the slices of the bowl as needed. Gradually add the flour mixture and beat the battel until it is well-blended. Now, you can stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Form the cookies in the shape of your choice (using cookie cutters recommended).
  5. Bake the cookies for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Finally, let the cookies cool for 5 minutes and move them to a wire rack to cool completely

Enjoy 😊!
